Australia is realising job/employment growth hitting a new 10-year high. The economy’s service sector is the reason for this, taking over where the mining and manufacturing sectors left off. Health care has seen the biggest growth with 152,000 jobs created since November 2014. Growth in other key sectors includes Retail, IT, Financial Services, and Administration. Health care is now the nation’s biggest employer.

It may now be a good time to consider a career change or simply changing roles within one of these key sectors. The health care sector is huge and diverse; roles are not only practitioner-based but can be administrative, operational, sales and customer service in nature and so forth. This could be an invaluable time for you during the Christmas/New Year break to do some research and consider your options.

Cheers,
